How many weddings does Maria Aurora take on each year?

The studio accepts no more than 18 weddings per calendar year so every event receives full founder-led attention from first sketch through send-off.

Where are most of the featured weddings located?

Featured weddings span coastal destinations across Portugal, Italy, Greece, Tulum, the wider Caribbean, and select U.S. locations including Charleston and the Northeast.

Can I see weddings that aren't shown on the portfolio?

Many events are held in confidence at the request of clients. A curated selection of additional weddings is shared privately during the consultation.

Why only a handful of weddings appear here each year.

The studio accepts eighteen weddings a year, no more. It is a number chosen on purpose — small enough that every event is led personally from the first sketch to the final seating chart, large enough to keep the studio in motion. The weddings below are the couples who, after the confetti was swept, generously agreed to let their day be shown here.

If you do not find a wedding that mirrors your own venue or aesthetic, that is intentional. Each chapter is composed around the couple, not the other way around. We would rather build something true to you than assemble a portfolio of look-alike destinations.
