collection of Bell Tower Salon in Reading, Pennsylvania; private collections in Tampa and Kansas City
These print projects are created from two silkscreened rice papers with identical designs and alternating colors -- the printed pages are arranged perpendicularly and the design appears to continue from one to the other. For this, a silkscreen stencil was made photogram-style from an unusual piece of lace acquired in the vicinity of Fashion Avenue, New York City. To accentuate the peek-through idea of lace, the top print is perforated to show the contrasting colors of the underneath page at regular intervals.
